Education Minister Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Naufel gave detailed information about the results in a press conference held in the meeting room of the Ministry of Education at the Secretariat on Sunday (May 12).
This time all the students of 2 thousand 968 educational institutions across the country have passed. Last year (year 2023) the number of educational institutions with 100% pass was 2 thousand 354. However, none of the country's 51 educational institutions could pass the SSC this time. Last year i.e. in 2023 there were 48 zero pass educational institutions. Accordingly, this time the number of educational institutions with zero pass has increased.
The average pass rate in the 2024 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations is 83.04 percent. Last time (in 2023) the pass percentage was 80.39 percent. That is, the pass rate has increased by 2.65 percent compared to last time.
Jessore Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education is leading in pass rate. The average pass rate in this board is 92.32 percent. On the other hand, Sylhet Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education is at the bottom like last year. The pass rate in the board this time is 73.35 percent.
