Twelve jurors have been selected to serve on the panel that will decide former President Donald Trump’s hush money criminal case in Manhattan.
The trial for the case—where Trump is facing 34 felony counts related to business fraud in an alleged attempt to cover up a past sex scandal during the 2016 election—began on Monday. Judge Juan Merchan has said that he plans to select six alternative jurors in addition to the 12-person panel.
One of those alternatives was also sworn in Thursday.
This is a breaking story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
