Officers-in-charge (OC) of 12 police stations of Chittagong district police have been withdrawn simultaneously. The matter was informed in an office order signed by District Superintendent of Police (SP) Raihan Uddin Khan on Monday (September 2).
The previous day Raihan Uddin joined Chittagong district as SP on Sunday. Within a day, he simultaneously withdrew the OCs of 12 out of 16 police stations in the district.
The withdrawn police officers are – Mir Md. of Fatikchari police station. Nurul Huda, Hathajari Model Police Station. Moniruzzaman, Zahid Hossain of Raujan Police Station, Molla Zakir Hossain of Anwara Police Station, Jasim Uddin of Patia Police Station, Obaidul Islam of Chandanish Police Station, Mizanur Rahman of Satkania Police Station, Md. of Bhujpur Police Station. Kamruzzaman, Boalkhali police station. Achhab Uddin, Tofail Ahmed of Banskhali Police Station, Mohammad Sahidul Islam of Mirsrai Police Station and Sandwip Police Station. Kabir Hossain.
It was informed from the media cell of the district police that soon new inspectors will be posted in those police stations.
