148 people have been arrested and 297 weapons have been recovered till today (Oct 9) in the ongoing operation by the joint forces, the police headquarters said.

This operation started from last September 4. According to the press release, the recovered weapons include 17 revolvers, 73 pistols, 21 rifles, 36 shotguns, 7 pipe guns, 40 shotguns, 28 LGs, 41 guns, 1 AK-47, 5 SMGs, 4 gas guns, 10 air guns, 10 SBBLs. , 2 tear gas launchers and 2 three-quarters.
