Two agencies named Risan Travels and Diya International disappeared with the money of 523 pilgrims. Among them, 448 people from Al Risan Travels and 75 people from Dia International. As a result, the Hajj pilgrims registered through these two agencies have become uncertain. In view of this, the Ministry of Religion has sent a letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs seeking a ban on the emigration of the Chairman and Managing Director of the Hajj Agency.

Senior Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Religion on Thursday (May 16) night. According to the two letters signed by Abu Taher, 448 pilgrims have been registered under Al Risan Travels Agency Ltd: (Hajj License Number 0672) for the 2024 Hajj season. No visa has been issued so far among the Hajj pilgrims registered with this agency. In this situation, the managing director of the agency cannot be contacted. This has raised fears that Hajj pilgrims registered with the agency may be cheated and their Hajj this year may be uncertain.

He also said in the letter, in this situation, the managing director of Al Risan Travels. Abdus Salam Miah should be prevented from leaving the country and at the same time legal action should be taken against him.

Meanwhile, the Hajj journey of 75 passengers of another Hajj agency called Diya International in Rangpur has become uncertain. The owner of this agency took three crore rupees of 75 passengers as the bank of the agency in their own name without coordinating with the 'lead' agency. As a result, the pilgrims are also uncertain about their pilgrimage. In view of this, the Ministry of Religion has sent a letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs seeking a ban on the emigration of the Chairman and Managing Director of the Hajj Agency.

According to the letter of the Ministry of Religion, during the current Hajj season, the chairman of Diya International identified as Kamrul Islam and the managing director identified as Muhammad Ali Babu registered 20 pilgrims under Al Iman Hajj Caravan Travels and Tours. But 20 pilgrims are yet to receive their PIDs as the registration fee has not been paid in favor of Al Iman Hajj Caravan Travels and Tours. As a result, their Hajj this year has become uncertain.
