3 people died in road accidents across the country

Three people died in road accidents in different parts of the country. The accidents happened yesterday Monday and Tuesday (August 20). Among them, one person was killed in a collision between a bus and a truck in Kushtia. Besides, one person each died in Gopalganj and Munshiganj.

Wrestling:
A person named Alamin Biswas (45) was killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a bus in Batoil Bypass area of ​​Kushtia city around 8 am. He was a truck driver. His home is Bairupara village of Shailkupa upazila of Jhenaidah district.

According to eyewitnesses and local sources, the Dhaka-bound passenger bus departing from Meherpur reaches Golden Line Oil Bypass area. Meanwhile, the bus collided head-on with the truck coming from the opposite direction. Alamin, the truck driver, was killed on the spot. At least 4 people were injured in this incident.

Kushtia Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mahafuzul Haque Chowdhury said that the dead truck driver's body was recovered and sent to the Kushtia General Hospital morgue. The injured are under treatment at the hospital.

Gopalganj:
In Gopalganj, Nasimon overturned and injured. A teenager named Hamim Khan (17) died. He died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Monday (August 19) night.

The deceased's elder brother Shaheen Khan said that he was going to Karpara with his friends to play football yesterday afternoon. The Nasimon overturned when the driver lost control in front of the Ulpur Mosque on the Gopalganj-Takerhat road. At least 11 people including Hamim were injured. Hamim was first admitted to the 250-bed Gopalganj General Hospital. When the condition worsened there, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital at night. Hamim died there.

Munshiganj:
The police and locals said that Alauddin was going to Baushia from Bhaberchar Bazar in a van with a bamboo fence around 1:30 p.m. today. The van took U-turn in front of Fida filling station and entered Comilla bound lane. After going some distance ahead, an unknown vehicle hit the van from behind. Alauddin was seriously injured. Later, the people around rescued him and took him to Ghazaria Upazila Health Complex. The doctor on duty there declared Alauddin dead.

Ghazaria highway police outpost in charge. Humayun Kabir said that the body of the deceased is in Bhaberchar highway police outpost. We are trying to identify the killer vehicle.
