The government has sent four senior police officers to retire from government service in the interest of the public. A notification in this regard has been issued by the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday (September 2). It was signed by the senior secretary of the public security department by order of the president. Mohammad Abdul Momen.
The retired officers are, Additional Inspector General of Police (Tourist) Mir Rezaul Alam, Additional Inspector General of Police Khandkar Lutful Kabir, Additional Deputy Inspector General of Police Chowdhury Manjurul Kabir and Deputy Inspector General of Police Md. Imam Hussain
According to the notification, they were retired from government service in public interest as per the provisions of section 45 of the Public Service Act, 2018 (Act No. 57 of 2018).
It further stated that he will be entitled to retirement benefits as per rules. This order issued in public interest will be effective immediately.
