The Dhaka court has granted bail to 42 HSC examinees arrested in the case of sabotage related to the quota reform movement.
Among them, the Chief Metropolitan Court of Dhaka has granted bail to 37 people and the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court has granted bail to five people.
On Friday (August 2) afternoon, Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Rashidul Alam's court ordered the release of the students from the jail gate.
Earlier on Thursday night, a press release sent by the Ministry of Home Affairs to the media said that if there are any ongoing HSC exam candidates among those detained in the recent violent incident, the government will provide legal assistance to release them on bail if they apply for bail along with the exam admit card and relevant documents. The government will also provide legal assistance for bail to detained students who do not have serious charges against them.
