A case was filed against the former president of Iqbal High School on charges of embezzlement

Two separate cases of fraud have been filed against former president of Dinajpur Iqbal High School and general secretary of Dinajpur Press Club Gholam Nabi Dulal and head teacher Selina Sultana on charges of embezzling money in the name of giving jobs.

Dinajpur Kot Inspector Liaquat Ali confirmed the case on Saturday.

On August 19, Dinajpur Senior Judicial Magistrate Amli Court. Masud Rana and Md. Two cases have been filed by two persons named Golam Morshed.

Ghulam Nabi Dulal has served as president of Iqbal High School for the past fifteen years. And the head teacher of the school, Selima Sultana, has been performing the duties of the head teacher in that school for a long time. Since the fall of Sheikh Hasina's government on August 5, the head teacher has been absent from the school. In this complaint, a written complaint has also been submitted to Dinajpur District Commissioner and District Education Officer demanding the resignation of the head teacher in view of the demands of school students, teachers-staff and local residents.

According to the statement of the case, in the last June, the plaintiff Masood Rana and Gholam Morshed came to know through the headmaster that two posts of office assistant and night guard are vacant in Iqbal High School. Later they contacted the school president and head teacher as job seekers. In the name of school reform, the headmaster and the school president accepted 7 lakhs from both of them. Later, when they asked for the refund of the money paid as they could not join the service, the school president Golam Nabi Dulal threatened them and offered a compromise solution.

When asked, Golam Nabi Dulal said, “There is no question about money.” Those who file the case may file the case out of jealousy. But I don't know anything about the case. On the question that the case has been filed, he further said, has any organization been allowed to investigate?
