A cheetah got caught in a farmer's trap after coming to hunt

A cheetah got caught in the farmer's leaf trap while hunting. On Friday (August 30) night, the tiger got trapped in a duck farm of Rafiqul Islam Ujjal of Wailpara village in Laxmiganj union of Netrakona Sadar upazila. The eager crowd has been waiting to see the captured tiger since morning.

In Wailpara village of Laxmiganj Union, Rafiqul Islam Ujjwale said that since the last few days, the locals are worried because of the mysterious disappearance of poultry and goats in different houses. To unravel the mystery of the missing, an iron trap is made and a chicken is placed behind the house to catch the trap. In the morning, a leopard was caught in an iron trap. When the news of the tiger's capture spread in the area, panic spread among the common people.

Later, when the matter came to the attention of the district administration, the Deputy Commissioner Shahed Parvez sent the officers of the Netrakona Forest Department there to rescue the tiger.

Jamal Hossain, who works in the Netrakona forest department, said that the leopard may have come from a nearby forest. We will take it and then the tiger will be released on the decision of the higher officials.

Netrakona District Commissioner Shahed Parvez said, we treated the tiger with the help of forest department officials. Later, necessary steps will be taken after discussing the matter with the forest officials.
