A drug parcel worth crores arrived by mail from California

The Dhaka Metro Office (North) of the Directorate of Narcotics Control (DNC) has seized a large quantity of tetrahydrocannabinol-containing kush, cannabinoid chocolate and cannabis cake in a parcel that came from California in the United States to the foreign post branch of the Bangladesh Postal Department (North).
DNC arrested three drug dealers related to this incident.
Assistant Director of DNC confirmed the matter to the media on Monday (April 22) night. Mehdi Hasan.
He said, a parcel arrived from the state of California in the United States to the foreign post branch of the Bangladesh Postal Department. A large quantity of tetrahydrocannabinol-containing kush, cannabinoid chocolates and cannabis cakes worth around crores of rupees were seized from the parcel. Three people involved have been arrested.
Director General of Narcotics Control Directorate Mustaqeem Billah Faruqi Segunbagicha will give details in a press conference organized at DNC headquarters on Tuesday (April 23).
