A glimpse of storm in the 11 regions of the country

People's life disrupted by floods in some districts of the country. Among them, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department has given a glimpse of a storm with a speed of 60 km over 11 regions of the country including Dhaka. The river ports of these areas have been asked to display warning signals.

Thursday (August 22) Meteorologist Dr. Bangladesh Meteorological Department. Muhammad Abul Kalam Mallick gave this information in the weather forecast for the country's inland river ports.

According to the Meteorological Office, a temporary gusty storm with rain or thundershower at a speed of 45-60 km per hour will occur over Dhaka, Madaripur, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Mymensingh and Sylhet regions by 6 pm today. The wind can blow. The Meteorological Department has asked the river ports of these areas to display warning signal number 1.

Meanwhile, nine districts of the country have been hit by flash floods caused by landslides and rains. People of Feni, Sunamganj, Moulvibazar, Habiganj, Comilla, Noakhali, Chittagong, Laxmipur and Khagrachari districts are in trouble due to knee-to-waist level water in their houses.
