At that time, former member of parliament ASM Feroze addressed the pro-BNP lawyers and said that it is not good to raise so many times. Then the lawyers started protesting again.

Happened on Saturday (August 24). At one point pro-BNP lawyer Omar Farooq Farooqui tried to calm down the angry lawyers. Later Farooqi addressed the accused and said, “You should not show too much emotion here. Here you are as accused. Because, if you show emotion, the lawyers will be more angry. At this time, the rest of the accused were standing silently in the dock.

Later in the evening, the police produced AS Feroze in the court. At that time, the police applied for a 10-day remand for questioning him for the sake of proper investigation of the case. After hearing the application, the judge granted his 7-day remand.

Earlier, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested him from Banani area of ​​the capital on Friday (August 23) night. On the afternoon of July 19, Sohag Mia was killed by the police in front of Faraji Hospital under Bhatara Thana. In this incident, on August 20, his father Shafayet Hossain filed a murder case at the Bhatara police station. 92 people including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina were accused in the case.

The plaintiff mentioned in the case that on the afternoon of July 19, my son Sohag Mia (16) was shot in the left ear and died on the spot when the peaceful march of anti-discrimination students in front of Faraji Hospital on 100 feet road of Bhatara police station was fired upon by the government. Later, AS Feroze was arrested in this case.

ASM Feroze was a member of the National Assembly eight times including three controversial elections. He won from Patuakhali-2 (Baufal) seat in the election of January 7 this year.
