Abdul Mueed Chowdhury, former secretary and former advisor to the caretaker government led by former Chief Justice Latifur Rahman in 2001, has been appointed as the chairman of the board of directors of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism has issued a notification in this regard on Sunday.
Abdul Mueed Chowdhury has performed professional duties in various important positions of the state and ministries during his career. He served as Managing Director and CEO of Biman Bangladesh Airlines from 1991 to 1994.
It is to be noted that in addition to performing the duties of advisor, he served as the head of various departments and departments including Biman Bangladesh Airlines, National Revenue Board, Internal Resources Department in his 33-year career.
