Achieving your goals is like conquering Everest: Babar Ali

Dr. Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world. Babar Ali said, “Each person can fulfill his life's goal from his own position is equal to conquering Everest. Advancing in one's profession is equivalent to advancing towards Everest.'

He expressed this while attending a reception in Feni on Wednesday (June 12) afternoon. Babar Ali was felicitated by the doctors at the diagnostic center called DD Lab. He shared various experiences of conquering Everest.

Dr. Under the chairmanship of Dr. Abdul Quddus Sohag, Acting Chairman of DD Lab, medical leaders were present in the program under the chairmanship of Yubair Ibn Khair.

Highlighting the memory of winning Everest as the 6th Bangladeshi, Babar Ali said that the thrill of winning Everest is thrilling for everyone. But for this you have to work hard and aim relentlessly. Achieving one's goals in life is like conquering Everest.
Babar Ali said, conquering Everest was my dream since my school days. The hill climb starts from that. During my student life, I started conquering mountains located in different districts of the country. I have the experience of traveling all over Bangladesh on foot. After conquering the highest peak of Bangladesh, the addiction of conquering the highest peak of the world, Everest, increased. Everest is the ultimate dream peak for any mountaineer. My dream came true on May 29. Being able to fly the flag of Bangladesh on the highest peak of the world has increased my achievement a thousand times

He also said that even though I am a doctor by profession, my mind was always on the mountains. Most of my income was spent on traveling and mountaineering. I have spent about 45 lakh rupees on the Everest mission.

Talking about his memories of winning Everest, Babar said, “Even though I had climbed many mountains before, the experience of Everest was completely different. After 11 years as a Bangladeshi this victory is the best event of my life. We had to overcome many difficulties during this trip of about two months. I have seen 3 dead bodies of many who have died in the Everest expedition. Among them, the corpse of a Mongolian citizen gave me the most pain. I met him 3/4 days ago. He sat as if he was waiting for someone.

Addressing those who are dreaming of conquering Everest in the future, Babar said, they have to take their dreams forward little by little. Prepare yourself physically mentally and financially. Before this, you have to experience climbing small hills in the mountainous region.
