Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu, a member of BNP Chairperson's advisory council, has been demoted to a member of the party's executive committee for making statements 'contrary to party ideals' on the media. On Sunday (August 18), a letter signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has been given to Dulu.
In the letter, it is said that since the response to the show-cause (show cause) notice was not satisfactory, organizational disciplinary action has been taken against him by the BNP. Dulu served as Deputy Minister of Lands during the BNP government. In a program in Natore city on August 15, he warned, “If the pictures and speech of the murderer Hasina are published in TV-magazines, they will be burnt.”
Meanwhile, in the team's letter to Dulu, it is said that due to your comments, you have been asked to respond within 24 hours. The response you gave today (Sunday 18 August) is not satisfactory. So you have been removed as a member of BNP Chairperson's Advisory Council and nominated only as a member of the National Executive Committee for giving that statement against the principles and ideals of the party.
