All government employees are directed to submit asset accounts

Quoting the senior secretary, it said that all government employees have been directed to submit asset statements.

Before this, last August 24, in order to ensure transparency and accountability, judicial officers working in the Supreme Court and their family members were ordered to submit the statement of assets by September 1.

The notification signed by the Registrar General of the Supreme Court Aziz Ahmad Bhuya said that in order to ensure the transparency and accountability of the judiciary, all the judicial officers working in the Bangladesh Judicial Service and their family members (husband/wife, son and daughter) in the country and in accordance with the memorandum of the Ministry of Law on the advice of the Supreme Court. Directed to submit statement of assets located abroad.

For that purpose, the Chief Justice has expressed his intention to submit the statement of assets of the judicial officers working in the Supreme Court and their family members (husband/wife, son and daughter) in the country and abroad as per the attached form to the office of the Registrar General by September 1.

The notification also said that in this situation, the judicial officers working in the Supreme Court and their family members (husband/wife, sons and daughters) in the country and abroad to submit the statement of assets in the country and abroad as per the attached form in the office of the Registrar General.
