All kinds of student politics are prohibited in Rajshahi College

Since the departure of dictator Sheikh Hasina in the anti-discrimination student movement, student politics has been banned in the universities and colleges of the country. In continuation of this, on Tuesday (August 20), all kinds of student politics have been banned in Rajshahi College.

It is known that at 11 in the morning, the students started the movement demanding ban on all kinds of student politics in Rajshahi College. Forced, the college administration called an emergency meeting with the teachers at 1 pm. At the end of the meeting at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, the vice-principal of the college announced the ban of all kinds of student politics from Rajshahi college campus, dormitory and student dormitory. At this time, he said, from today until further notice, all kinds of student politics have been banned from Rajshahi College, Muslim hostels and girls' hostels. We will send this written copy to the ministry. We will implement the decision that comes later from the ministry. We will try our best to keep all college campuses away from student politics.

Earlier, a procession of general students from Rajshahi College's Muslim hostel and girls' hostel entered the college at 11 am. After that, all students including higher secondary students of the college participated in the movement and started the sit-in program at the main gate of the college.

Later, around 11:30 a delegation of students went to the college administration and held a series of meetings with the teachers including the vice-principal Ibrahim Mia. There they submitted a written request to ban all forms of student politics from Rajshahi College Campus, Rajshahi College Muslim Hostel and Rajshahi College Women Hostel. In the meeting, the student delegation gave a 1-hour ultimatum to the college administration.
