All political parties agree on July declaration: Naseeruddin – Bangladesh Diplomat


Convener of the National Citizens' Committee, Nasiruddin Patwari, said that all political parties have agreed on the manifesto of the July People's Uprising.

Nasiruddin Patwari said, today all the political parties of Bangladesh came and spoke. We all reached a consensus that there would be a manifesto. All agreed that it will be released quickly with adequate reviews as soon as possible. Some of these are visual and some are acoustic, requiring discussion among all. For that, everyone asked the chief advisor for time.

He said that the Chief Adviser has asked to ensure that there is no wastage of time. So that there is no delay and not too fast. In the middle so that we can reach a consensus and create something beautiful. We have reached a consensus on this matter and will soon come before everyone.

He also said that the anti-discrimination student movement and civic committee have been patient since the night of December 31 and are still doing so. We will ask the people of the country to be patient for some more time. If Bangladesh is to go on the path of democratic transition, it is not possible without this historical document. That's why we have called upon all parties, parties and parties to march on the path of democracy through this historical document without betraying the people who have fought for democracy in the past 15 years. They agreed, hopefully our journey will be together in the future, in future Bangladesh.

Nasiruddin Patwari said that many people have said about the deadline. No specific deadline has been set. But everyone agreed that it's never too late and never too early. It will be released soon with everyone's observation.

It should be noted that on December 31, the anti-discrimination student movement and the National Citizen Committee wanted to publish the declaration of the July Mass Uprising at the central Shaheed Minar. Then various discussions were made in the political arena of the country about this declaration. Later, in an emergency press briefing on the night of December 30, the press secretary of the Chief Adviser said that on the basis of the national consensus, the interim government has taken the initiative of preparing a declaration of July mass coup.

After this incident, the anti-discrimination student movement and the National Citizen Committee held a meeting on the same night and announced a program called 'March for Unity' at Shaheed Minar on December 31. The interim government has been given time till January 15 to release the July manifesto from the programme.
