Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun said that the police is playing a successful role in suppressing militancy and terrorism. In the meantime, all kinds of militancy and terrorism in the country are under the control of the police.
He said this to reporters after inaugurating the newly constructed studio apartment of Sunamganj city police station on Friday afternoon.
The Chief of Police said that after taking charge of the Prime Minister, he is working sincerely to increase the capacity of the police. By training the members of the police force at home and abroad, they have developed digital Bangladesh in a modern way.
He said that all the talent and labor of the police will be spent for the welfare of the people. We are proud to work for the people of the country.
