There has been a major reshuffle in the official ranks of the Bangladesh Police. Meanwhile, new Superintendent of Police (SP) has been appointed in 24 districts including Dhaka. And the current police superintendents of these districts have been transferred to different workplaces.
This information was given in a separate notification signed by Mahabur Rahman Sheikh, Deputy Secretary of the Police-1 Branch of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday (August 27).
New Superintendents of Police appointed – Dhaka, Rangpur, Gazipur, Comilla, Sirajganj, Chittagong, Manikganj, Mymensingh, Gaibandha, Habiganj, Rajshahi, Munshiganj, Sylhet, Narayanganj, Natore, Pabna, Patuakhali, Bagerhat, Kishoreganj, Jhenaidah, Magura, Tangail , in Jessore and Narsingdi districts.
According to the notification, the following officers in the BCS (Police) cadre have been transferred and posted to the mentioned posts and posts.
Besides, it is also said in the notification that this notification issued in public interest will come into effect immediately.
