Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan urged everyone to stand by the flood victims in the ongoing floods. Responding to that call, the Roller Skating Federation gathered with banners in front of the Sheikh Russell Roller Skating Complex at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Saturday.
General Secretary of the Federation Ahmed Asiful Hasan also gave notices and pictures to a sports based group. The banner had a large picture of the youth and sports advisor. The sports advisor noticed the matter through various media.
In view of this, sports advisor Asif Mahmood gave a status on his Facebook ID on Saturday midnight requesting not to perform personal worship.
There he writes, 'Show love through your actions. Don't keep the old culture of personality worship alive by pulling big pictures. There is no more culture of personal worship in Bangladesh. Be it for interest or love, stop such practices.'
