Awami League's participation in the liberation war was less: Rizvi – Bangladesh Diplomat

Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, senior joint secretary general of BNP, said that the liberation war was not only done by Awami League, but the liberation war was fought with everyone's participation. Awami League's participation in the liberation war was less than other parties.

He made this comment in an event at KIB auditorium in the capital on Friday (January 17).

Rizvi commented that although Sheikh Hasina and her party Awami League talked about the spirit of the liberation war, they basically undermined the dignity of the liberation war. He said, Sheikh Hasina was a model of corruption. There is no sector where he is not corrupt.

Referring to Sheikh Hasina's niece tulip, he said that even though the tulip grew up in a corruption-free country, she too got involved in corruption due to her family genes.

He also said, at this time, on what basis has the terrible corrupt Sheikh Hasina been given shelter in India? Sheikh Hasina did not have any political ideology, only the name of development. And thousands of crores of rupees have been smuggled abroad in the name of this development.
