Production has started from the third unit of coal-based thermal power plant with a capacity of 525 MW of power generation at Barapukuria in Dinajpur after one month and 6 days of shutdown. Authorities have expressed hope that the 3rd unit will reduce loadshedding in the region. The production started from 5 pm yesterday.
