BCB stands by the flood victims with a donation of crores of rupees

This time, BCB has announced to stand by the flood victims with a donation of crores of rupees.

People are now trapped in water in most of the districts of south-eastern part of the country including Feni, Noakhali, Comilla due to heavy rains and water coming down from upstream. Their lives are now plagued with various problems including shortage of food, clean water. People of all classes and professions of the country are standing by the Banvasi people during this crisis. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has also announced a donation for the flood victims.

BCB meeting on Saturday decided to provide grants for flood victims. The cricket board will provide 3000 bags of dry food and 1 crore rupees to the flood victims. They are taking the help of the army in relief operations. BCB will deliver 3000 bags of dry food to the army on Sunday.

BCB's new president Farooq Ahmed said, “We are thinking about the flood-affected people at present. The Bangladesh Cricket Board is committed to stand by the flood victims in their difficult times. I have taken quick steps to provide help and relief. We are ready to provide the maximum cooperation that is needed to overcome such a critical situation.'

Farooq further added, 'BCB will remain dedicated during such challenging times. We will work in coordination with such work. In such a work we are calling everyone to continue efforts from their own place.'
