BNP Dhaka Metropolitan South has decided to hold a rally to demand the unconditional release of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia along with medical treatment, the withdrawal of the false case against the acting chairman of the party and the release of all imprisoned leaders. It is said that this rally will be held in front of the BNP central office in Nayapaltan on May 10 (Friday).
Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP office secretary Saidur Rahman Mintu said on Tuesday (May 7) that the Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP will hold a rally in front of the central office in Nayapaltan on May 10 to demand the unconditional release of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia along with proper treatment, the withdrawal of the false case against Acting Chairman Tariq Rahman and the release of imprisoned leaders.
He said that Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, a member of the National Standing Committee of BNP, will attend the rally as the chief guest. BNP Chairperson's Advisory Council Member and Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP Convener Abdus Salam will preside and Member Secretary Rafiqul Alam Majnu will moderate.
Besides, on the occasion of the death anniversary of BNP's former organizing secretary Nasir Uddin Ahmed Pintu tomorrow, Milad and doa mahfil will be held on the ground floor of BNP central office, Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP office secretary Saidur Rahman Mintu said.
