BNP will try to get fair share of water: Amir Khosru

Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, a member of the BNP's standing committee on the agreement on fair share of water with India, said that if the government elected by the people's vote is formed, BNP will try to get the fair share of water. It will be disposed of as legally available to us. The expectation of the people of the country for a fair share of water has not been fulfilled even today. It will be resolved in mutual interest and respect.

He said these things while distributing relief to the flood victims at the shelter of Lakshmipur Municipal Ideal College at 12 noon on Saturday (August 24) in response to questions from journalists.

Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury said, BNP volunteers are now engaged in mitigating the plight of people in flood affected areas. BNP is trying as much as possible to do whatever is necessary for the rehabilitation of the flood affected people. And said that this initiative of BNP will continue until the rehabilitation is not done.

Later, the leaders distributed sarees, lungis and dry food among the flood victims.
