Body of unidentified woman recovered in Thakurgaon

Police recovered the body of an unidentified old woman from Mathurapur area of ​​Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila.

The body was recovered from the side of the Thakurgaon-Baliadangi highway on Saturday (01 June) at noon.
Eyewitnesses said that the dead body of an unidentified old woman was reported to the police on the side of the road. Later, the police recovered the body from the spot.

Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) ABM Feroze Wahid said, “We have come to know that the unidentified woman used to bring aid to people. It doesn't look like murder. Because he was already sick. Initially, it is believed that he died due to illness after stumbling and falling in the dark at night.

He further said that the CID team at the spot is working to identify the body. Later, the dead body will be sent to the morgue for autopsy.
