In Natore's Bagatipara district Awami League member and former upazila chairman Ahidul Islam Gokul, 46 leaders and activists of Awami League have been named in a case.
On Tuesday (August 27) night, the son of the deceased Askan Ali of Perabaria Mohalla in the municipal area of the upazila. Salam filed the case at Bagatipara Model Police Station as the plaintiff. According to the statement of the case, the accused used to threaten to kill, injure, kill and keep explosives in their custody for the purpose of detonation.
While 46 people have been named in the case, there are 30-40 unidentified accused. Bagatipara Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nannu Khan confirmed the case and said that the operation to nab the accused is continuing.
