Later, when the police took refuge, Milan Islam (52), the king of Jin, was arrested on Tuesday (June 4) night. During his arrest, his house was searched and dollars, brass pitchers and Aladdin's lamps were seized.

The name of the victim of fraud is Mohsin Ali Rubel (64). He is a resident of Nayatola area of ​​Syedpur upazila of Nilphamari. He participated in the recently held second phase election as Chairman of Syedpur Upazila Parishad.

On Tuesday night, the victim of fraud filed a case in Boda police station naming three persons including Milan Islam and accusing five to seven unidentified persons. Police arrested Milon Islam from Kaliaganj Bazar area of ​​Kajaldighi Kaliaganj Union in the night. A resident of Utkura area of ​​Milon Union. Later, Milan was arrested in this case and brought to Panchagarh court on Wednesday (June 5) afternoon, after which the police applied for a 5-day remand. Later the court sent the accused Milan to jail.

According to police and case reports, Milan Islam has been stealing crores of rupees from people by posing as the king of jinn for a long time. Mohsin Ali Rubel was the candidate for the post of chairman of Syedpur upazila parishad of Nilphamari district in the second phase of the 6th phase upazila elections. Later, on election day last May 21 (Tuesday), the Jin Badsha circle chief Milon and his aides started tempting the candidate Rubel by sending Jin Badsha to the center on the polling day to win in his helicopter symbol. At one point, on April 23, the plaintiff in the case, Mohsin Ali, believing in a fraudulent meeting, came to Utkura area of ​​Kajaldighi Kaliaganj Union of Upazila along with his car driver Bull Islam. Later the fraudster paid Tk 1 lakh 25 thousand 500 to Milan at his residence. At one stage, the plaintiff Mohsin Ali paid a total of Tk 15 lakh through various channels including mobile development. After counting the election results, Mohsin Ali became the 6th. Not being able to win the election, the candidate Mohsin Ali came to Milan's house on May 22 and asked for the money back. Milan and his associates denied the incident and threatened to kill and disappear. Seeing no alternative, he took refuge in the Boda police station.

The investigating officer and Sub-Inspector (SI) of Boda Police Station Abdus Salam said that the accused Milon along with his associates extorted money from people through fraud. We were already working on finding the cycle. Later, when a case was filed, we identified his location and arrested Milon.

Boda Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mozammel Haque said, a gang was deceiving the common people by giving them Hanumani Paisa, Aladdin's lamp, brass urn and gold urn.
