Chennai entered the field without Mustafiz

In the Indian Premier League (IPL), Chennai Super Kings entered the field without Mustafizur Rahman. Chennai is not getting this pacer in today's match as he is staying in Dhaka to complete the visa process for the T20 World Cup.

Yesterday, Mustafiz went to the US embassy to get the visa work done with the national team cricketers. The left-handed pacer submitted his passport there. Until he gets his passport back, he is not able to buy a ticket for India. As a result, he is still unable to enter the field.

Chennai take on Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. Rituraj Gaikwad's team will bat first after losing the toss in the match.

Chennai's next match is against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 8. If everything goes well, the Bangladeshi pacer can join the team before that match.

This left-handed pacer has been a regular part of the Bangladesh team in Chennai's XI since the start of this year's IPL. Mostafiz is the highest wicket-taker in the IPL so far with Mohit Sharma taking 7 wickets after playing 3 matches. He was also Man of the Match with 4 wickets for 29 runs in the first match.
