A total of 11 people, including university and college students, who were seriously injured in the agitation, are being treated at the National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital in the capital.
Hospital director Kazi Deen Mohammad said that four of the injured were shot in the head. But their condition is improving now. The chief adviser saw all four in the hospital's intensive care unit.
Senior doctors of the hospital along with joint director of the institute Badrul Alam were present at this time.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of the one month anniversary of the ouster of the Sheikh Hasina government, the chief adviser said through a written statement that a foundation is being created for the better treatment of the injured of the movement and the care of the families of the martyrs. Its process is almost at its final stage. Apart from this, arrangements will be made to restore the eyesight of those who have lost their eyesight, said the Chief Advisor.
