The chief adviser of the interim government. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin congratulated Muhammad Yunus.

On Tuesday (August 20), the Russian Prime Minister congratulated in a telegram message.

In his congratulatory message, Mishustin said, “On behalf of the Russian government and myself, I congratulate you on your appointment as the head of the Advisory Council.” The interim government will perform the functions of the government of Bangladesh until the next parliamentary elections.

The Russian Prime Minister said that Russia-Bangladesh relations are developing from the position of friendship and mutual respect. Reiterating my commitment to constructive joint work at the governmental level to strengthen trade, economic, technological, cultural and humanitarian interaction between the two countries, which serves the interests of the Russian Government and the Government of Bangladesh.
