The beginning of the 2024 NFL season will have to wait just a little bit longer.

As the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens were preparing to kick off their seasons on Thursday night at Arrowhead Stadium, the Kansas City weather had other plans.

Due to lightning and rain in the area, the kickoff time for Thursday night’s game has been delayed.

When Will Chiefs vs Ravens Start?

As of this writing, per the NBC broadcast, Chiefs vs. Ravens is expected to kickoff at 5:40 p.m. PT/8:40 p.m. ET. That’s a 20-minute delay from the initial start time.
