Chinese Ambassador meeting with Jute Advisor Sakhawat Hussain

A delegation led by Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen paid a courtesy call on Textiles and Jute Advisor Brigadier General (retd) M Sakhawat Hussain.

The meeting was held on Tuesday (August 20) at noon in the adviser's office at the ministry's secretariat.

At this time, the textile and jute adviser mentioned the mutual friendly relationship between Bangladesh and China and said that China is one of the partners in the development and investment of Bangladesh. He said that there are opportunities for national and international businessmen to invest in the closed state-owned textile and jute mills in Bangladesh.

M Sakhawat Hossain said, Chinese businessmen can invest in jute, jute and textile and other related sectors. Chinese businessmen can invest in Chittagong and Khulna. At the same time, they want China's cooperation in the development of technology and efficiency in the development of textiles.

Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen expressed interest in investment and visit. He congratulated the interim government and noted China's commitment to Bangladesh's progress in trade, particularly in the garment sector, and assured of organizing training programs in the textile sector.
