Cholaiman Ali, a brave freedom fighter, was buried with state dignity in Patnitala

Hero freedom fighter Cholaiman Ali (86), son of Kamruddin of Sambhupur Badgam village in Patnitala, Naogaon, died at his residence due to old age (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun).

Burial with state honors was completed on Tuesday at his home village Sambhupur Badgam. On behalf of the Upazila Nirbahi Officer, a special team of police, led by the Upazila Government Commissioner (Lands) Azizul Kabir, Patnitala Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mozaffar Hossain, SI Saiful Islam, provided the guard of honour. At that time, upazila former freedom fighter commander, hero freedom fighter Saidur Rahman, Sukumar Kumar Das, Abdul Majid, local residents, Sudheejan etc. were present.

Burial followed in the family cemetery. He was 86 years old at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, one son and three daughters and numerous well-wishers. He had been suffering from senility for a long time.
