DB Harun stole millions of rupees because I joined BNP: Juba Dal leader

The year was 26 May 2017. Gazipur's then Superintendent of Police Harun and his henchmen were oppressed and brutalized by upazila Jubo Dal joint convener and UP member Ramzan Ali. He still shuddered when he remembered Harun's fine and terrible torture. Feeling restless inside, even crying does not bring relief.

Ramzan Ali is the son of late Akbar Ali of village Taltali of Gazipur Sadar Upazila Mirzapur Union. Member of Gazipur District Youth Party and Joint Convener of Upazila Youth Party. Harun has to endure terrible torture just because he is associated with BNP politics.

He said that the ruling party A-League has named 32 people of BNP including BNP Acting Chairman Tarek Rahman as the accused number 3 in the sabotage case by setting up a false incident of setting fire to a car near Manipur Piruzali Road (Tarek Zia Mor) in Gazipur. It was on the basis of this case that Harun started being cruel to me. At Harun's command, he was taken out of the house by his army. Threatened with various false cases and demanded ten lakh rupees. As he refused to pay money, he blindfolded and started inhumane torture. Someone is saying, sir, shoot him and throw him in the forest. I cower in fear. After promising to release him, he talked to the family at night and collected three and a half lakh taka. But I was not released.

He also said, the next morning I was taken to the former Joydevpur police station. There is torture again. He said Harun sir wanted to see you, let Harun sir size you because after hearing the news of sir's transfer, you distribute sweets in Manipur market and fearing various lawsuits.

DB Harun's swindling army collected another two lakh rupees. After being handed over to the court, I was released on bail after spending 45 days in jail. On the night of November 7 of that year, I was picked up from home again. Kept at Hotapara Police Outpost. He was released from the case with two lakh taka saying that he would be implicated in another sabotage case.

Later on October 26, 2023, I was arrested and brought to the present Hotapara Joydevpur police station and sent to the court as an accused in a previously filed sabotage case. After 85 days in jail, I got out on bail. I am still living with some kind of mental pain with the wounds of torture and 7 political false cases on my shoulders.

Ramzan Ali member said, because of BNP, Harun has tortured many people like me. Tortured and snatched lakhs of rupees. I demand justice for this DB Harun and his corrupt army who tortured.
