Defeated forces want to destroy victory: Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that the defeated forces want to destroy the victory of the students. He said this at a discussion meeting on the occasion of the 9th death anniversary of Jatiya Party Chairman Kazi Zafar at Jatiya Press Club on Monday (August 26) afternoon.

Regarding the ongoing floods in the country, Mirza Fakhrul said that there may be floods. Heavy rain will cause flooding. But this flood is a criminal offense. They were not informed what would happen if India opened the dam and floated it. Which is a violation of international law. Unprepared, many people were swept away by the water. People have died. They are now living a subhuman life. I sympathize with them.

Mirza Fakhrul said about the country's crisis period, we are in a transitional period. A successful student revolution was followed by an interim government. We have confidence in this government. The head of this government is a universally accepted figure.

Expressing the sky-high expectations of the people of this government, he said that after this terrible fascism, they will hold an election that will be free and fair. It will print all the noises in it. Worried till now not hearing anything from the chief advisor. Yesterday he spoke about the purpose of the nation.

Among them, it is noteworthy that he said that when the election will be held, the political decision is correct. However, this should be discussed with the political party. I would expect the Chief Counsel to go through that process. He will talk to political parties.

Regarding the withdrawal of the case of the chief advisor, Mirza Fakhrul said, we have to withdraw the cases against about 60 lakh people. I saw in the newspaper that the case of the chief adviser has been raised. Another adviser's case has been withdrawn. We want our 1 lakh 45 thousand cases to be withdrawn immediately.

We expected the Chief Adviser to give a roadmap, but did not hear it from the Chief Adviser.

Regarding the movement of Ansar members, he said that they wanted to create a disturbance by surrounding the secretariat yesterday and wearing the clothes of Ansar members. The students destroyed it. But this is not a signal. That is, the defeated powers seek to thwart this victory in various ways. We urge people not to indulge in these matters.
