Demonstration in Pakistan! The price on the head of the Chief Justice has been fixed

He took life sentence of many accused. This time a part of the people of the country announced the price of his head. 1 crore Pakistani currency was announced as a price on the head of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan as a result of dissatisfaction over a verdict. The angry crowd also went to the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan is located in the heart of Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan. There is quite a bit of empty space around it. A big road has passed through it. Suddenly thousands of people are seen rushing across the road. Target Supreme Court main building. Many are running with flags. The rest of the crowd is seen marching in unison towards the main gate of the Supreme Court. The police had erected a barbed wire barrier there. They are trying to break the resistance and enter inside with the flag.

At a glance, it may seem that the people of Pakistan are preparing to demolish the court. But actually that anger is against the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Allegedly, Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isha has 'insulted' the religion of Islam. The demand for the death of Chief Justice Isha was also raised in the procession for that 'crime'.

The incident happened on Monday in Islamabad. However, the video of the procession was released on Wednesday. All those videos have spread through social media. However, Pakistani media outlets 'Dawn' and 'Gio TV' reported that Pakistani hardliners protested against Chief Justice Isha after he recently acquitted a man accused of 'religious insult'. Chief Justice Isha said that non-Muslims can practice their religion freely in Pakistan. The hardliners claim that the Chief Justice of Pakistan actually insulted religion with that verdict.

The incident started in February. Mubarak Ahmed Sani, a man from Pakistan's Ahmadiyya community, was released by the Supreme Court of Pakistan. On 7 January 2023, Mubarak was arrested for promoting the scripture 'Fakir-e-Sagheer' in a college in Pakistan. “Fakir-e-Sagir” is the holy book of Ahmadiyya community. Which is basically an analysis of the Holy Quran by Mirza Bashir Ahmed, the son of the founder of the Ahmadiyya sect. He was arrested under Pakistan's Koran Act. He was later released after 1 year and 1 month of arrest.

Mubarak told the court that the incident for which he was arrested took place in 2019. And the law under which he was arrested was not at that time. He was acquitted on that basis. At the same time, the court also spoke about the freedom of non-Muslims to practice their religion in Pakistan. Against the Chief Justice's comments and verdict, the radical organization Tehreek started a protest demonstration in Pakistan. Later, other radical organizations also joined the protest. On Monday, that protest became bigger. According to sources, the agitators have given time till September 7 to the Supreme Court to change the decision.
