Dengue patients are increasing by leaps and bounds in the country

In the last month of August, the number of dengue infected patients in the country exceeded more than 6000. Last month, 6,521 dengue patients were treated in different hospitals in the country. Among them, 27 people died.

The number of dengue patients is also significant in the first two days of September. In these two days, 767 dengue patients have been detected in the country, the Health Department has informed. During this time, four people died of dengue.

It is known that the number of deaths due to dengue this year till Monday (September 2) has reached 87 people. Among them 47 women and 40 men. Among the total deaths, 36 people died outside the two city corporations of Dhaka.

According to the statistics of the Department of Health, from January 1 to September 2 this year, 13,608 people were infected with dengue. 3 thousand 497 people in different hospitals of Dhaka South City Corporation and 2 thousand 225 dengue patients in different hospitals of Dhaka North City Corporation have received treatment in different hospitals.
