So far 2.9 lakh people have been affected in eight districts of the country and two people have died due to the ongoing floods. In this situation, the employees of Mobile Financial Service Development have announced to give one day's salary to the flood victims. The announcement was made in a post on the official Facebook page of Bikash Limited on Thursday afternoon.
It said that all BKash workers have donated their one day salary to stand by the flood affected people across the country.
Development officially started in 2011. Currently the number of subscribers is more than 7 crore. Bikash has about 330,000 agents and 550,000 merchants across the country.
Meanwhile, water is flowing over the boundary in five rivers of Moulvibazar district due to continuous rains and water coming down from India. The waters of the Kushiara, Manu, Dhalai and Juri rivers flow over the Bipatseema.
