On Monday (September 2) by the order of the President, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Education. This information was given in the notification signed by Shaheenur Islam.

It is said in the notification, with the approval of the President and Chancellor, according to Article 13 (1) of the Dhaka University Order, 1973, Professor Dr. Sayema ​​Haque Vidisha, Department of Economics, University of Dhaka has been appointed as Vice-Chancellor (Administration) in the said University under the following conditions.

It further states that his term of appointment as Vice-Chancellor will be 4 years from the date of joining. In the said post he will be entitled to emoluments equal to the present post. He shall enjoy other benefits pertaining to the post as per the rules and shall be permanently stationed in the University campus.

He shall exercise such powers and duties as may be prescribed by the Statutes and Laws of the University and conferred upon him by the Vice-Chancellor. The President and Chancellor can cancel this appointment at any time if necessary.
