Dipu Moni four, Joy five days remand

Awami League Central Committee joint general secretary and former minister Dr. Arrested in the case of the murder of grocery shopkeeper Abu Saeed in Mohammadpur of the capital due to the indiscriminate shooting of students in anti-discrimination movement. The court granted five-day remand to Dipu Monir and former deputy sports minister Arif Khan Joy.

On Tuesday (August 20), Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Sultan Sohag Uddin's court ordered remand.

Inspector Tofazzal Hossain of Mohammadpur police station requested to remand them for 10 days for proper investigation of the case.

Earlier, Dipu Moni and Joy were produced in court around 3:20 pm. They were kept in the CMM court jail. They were taken to court during the hearing.
