Dr. Congratulations to Yunus from the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation

Interim government chief advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus is congratulated by the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation. Dr. Yunus received the 1984 Ramon Magsaysay Award.

The recent political unrest in Bangladesh is a clear manifestation of the country's people's desire for an inclusive, corruption-free and democratic government.

President Ramon Magsaysay strongly said, I believe, the government will move from low level to progress for the welfare of the people of the country, because the welfare of the people is the job of the government.

I believe, the supreme leader of the state should have qualities like a big heart, honest mind, healthy instincts, patient protective qualities and setting an example of loyal love towards the common people.

May this new chapter in your country's history be marked not by uncertainty or inequality, but by stability and leadership that upholds the fundamental rights of the common man, not a few privileged groups, the message added.
