Eid Anand by playing loud music on the road, fine


The mobile court fined 5 people for celebrating Eid by playing loud music on the road in Shivganj of Chapainawabganj and for having more riders on motorcycles.

On Thursday (April 11) afternoon, raids were conducted on various roads in the upazila and a fine of Tk 3200 was imposed. The Director of Mobile Court and Upazila Executive Officer confirmed this information to RisingBD. Ujjal Hussain

He said that five people were prosecuted and fined Tk 3,200 for violating the Road Traffic Control Act by playing loud music on the sound box of illegal vehicles on the Shibganj-Sona Mosque road and three people traveling on a motorcycle.

Earlier on April 8, the Shibganj Upazila administration in a public notice banned fireworks, illegal vehicles and loud music on the roads during Eid and New Year celebrations.
