Fakhrul demanded to give allowance to the families of the missing victims

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has demanded the interim government to give allowance to every missing family.

He said, there are many families who are running the family with great difficulty. Raising boys and girls. Democracy is coming, we all will enjoy the fruits of democracy. But what about the families? The responsibility of the state is to take responsibility of these families.

He said this at a rally organized on the occasion of World Missing Day in front of BNP central office in Nayapaltan on Friday.

Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, I am not the chief guest today on International Missing Day. Those who have gone missing are the chief guests of today's rally. Our Ilyas Ali's wife is hoping for 9 years that her husband might come back, but he doesn't. Many missing families hope, lament that their loved ones will return. It's been 12 long years and still doesn't come back.

Mirza Fakhrul thanked the interim government and said that yesterday this government signed the charter against international disappearances. The previous government did not sign it. This is the first time a team is coming to investigate against a dictatorial government. The team will investigate the murders that took place in the last two months. I appeal to the government, through the United Nations, to investigate every one of the disappearances and murders the government has committed in the last 15 years. The government said the UN would do that.

We thank the current government once again yesterday this government constituted a commission. To investigate the disappearances and murders that have occurred in the last 15 years. All of us who are here have sacrificed for democracy. Let us all support this government. So that they can reform the state and elect representatives through a fair election.
