He took a job as a lecturer in the Department of Islamic History and Culture in Khidirpur Degree College. As usual his MPO entry also takes place. Later he was fired after being found guilty of fraud. His MPO was cancelled.
Apart from this, Sohrab Hossain has been accused of appointing Achma Akhter, daughter of Harish Uddin of his native village Sharifpur, as a teacher in Dalirpar High School of Belab Upazila on the recommendation of a fake NTRC certificate in exchange for Tk 8.5 lakh.

As a result, pressure on Sohrab Hossain to return the money did not get any benefit. In this situation, he recently submitted a written complaint to Manohardi Upazila Nirbahi Officer.
Accused Sohrab Hossain denied the allegation and said that it is a complete propaganda. The matter is a conspiracy against him.
Manohardi Upazila Nirbahi Officer Hashiba Khan is contacted in this regard and necessary action will be taken subject to proper investigation regarding the complaint, he said.
