Former MP of Patuakhali-2 Constituency and former Chief Whip of Jatiya Sangsad ASM Feroze has been arrested by the police. Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) media and public relations department said that he was arrested from Banani in Dhaka on Friday night. However, in which case he has been arrested, no details have been given.
Former Member of Parliament of Awami League of Patuakhali-2 Constituency ASM Feroze served as the Chief Whip in the 10th National Parliament.
Awami League and its allied and fraternal leaders went into hiding after Sheikh Hasina resigned and left the country on August 5 in the face of the student movement. Former ministers, government officials and people holding various important positions of the state are in the list of absconding. Some of them are being arrested.
