Former Awami League Minister of State for Information Mohammad A Arafat has been arrested in the murder case.
He was arrested from Gulshan in the capital on Tuesday (August 27).
Awami League candidate Mohammad Ali Arafat won from Dhaka-17 seat in the 12th National Parliament election. Later he took oath as Minister of State in Sheikh Hasina's new cabinet.
