A free blood grouping campaign was conducted at Amrailchhara tea garden in Srimangal upazila of Moulvibazar under the slogan 'Rakt Din, Jiban Bachan'.
On Saturday (May 25) from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm organized by Bangladesh T Community Blood Fighter and sponsored by Santosh Ravi Das Anjan, the blood group of more than two hundred people was determined.
Ripon Mridha, joint convenor of Bangladesh Tea Community Blood Fighter in Free Blood Grouping Campaign, said, once it was seen that tea plantation people died due to lack of blood. This campaign is so that everyone's interest in donating blood increases and people do not die due to lack of blood.
Santosh Ravi Das said, once upon a time people used to buy blood and give it to the patient. Now tea garden people know their blood group and voluntarily donate blood to save people from danger.
